Commercial Snow Blowers

Does anyone here run their snowblower at night?

I live in a neighborhood and I used to see people out at 9-10 at night running their snowblowers. I just purchased a snowblower and I dont hear anyone running their snowblowers!! I ran mine though, is this okay at night? I've people do it before! Like I used to hear them sometimes late at night around 11 even. I live in Michigan!

1. i live in wisconsin. i know people who run them that late so even if it snows overnight there isnt as much snow in the morning to clear off. if you have heard people do it before, then go ahead and do it
2. Check to see what the noise curfew is in your neighborhood. Some places its 12 am others It's 10 pm. They plow the streets during the night so I don't see where a snow blower would hurt.
3. Ask your neighbors if they mind. Clean your drive and that of anyone elderly and no one will complain about that. I don't think people who work days would mind.
