Commercial Snow Blowers

Is their any other way besides using WD40 on snowblowers to keep the snow from sticking ?

On my two stage snowblowers i always have to spray WD40 on the auger assembly, and chute to prevent the snow from sticking. Whenever the time comes getting them started for winter i never have any WD40. What else can i use to prevent snow from sticking?

1. try antifreeze.
2. any thin oil should work just as well
3. Try Slip Plate. I asked that question years ago when I lived off-the-grid in the mountains and used draft horses to pull a 1923 model road-grader to clear the roads of snow. Snow stuck to the blade AND the metal wheels. Tried WD-40, PAM cooking spray and ArmorAll. Slip Plate did the trick.
4. Pleas don't use antifreeze it can kill animals. Try cooking oil.Even nonstick cooing spray ( pam )
5. This may sound really silly, but Pam cooking spray works great!
