- its perfectly safe and better than a stubborn gas engine
- toro snowblower gas 20 inch path is your best bet. about $500 and always starts. I have had mine 10 years.
- I have not been fortunate enough to have a snowblower, but I wouldn't think that a company would sell the public, equipment that has not been tested in the environment in which it would be used. This particular product is to be used in a climate where water is present, so I am sure it has some sort of safety measures installed within its electrical system to ensure no accidents will happen. I am sure it is insulated to ensure the user will not get electrocuted. It probably has a shut-off something like a GFI in your bathroom. Otherwise the company would not be in business for long, due to the lawsuits.
- They are insulated against shock, but you need to do your part also, which means only using a good heavy duty extension cord that is properly grounded. Properly grounded also applies to the outlet you plug the cord into.
- perfectly safe, use a 16 awg. 100 ft. ext. cord or 14 awg. 150 ft. I use gas craftsman snow-thrower. all depends on how much setup / maintenance your hubby wants to do. when you decide, test it out on my s. dakota sidewalk
